Oh my gosh, HIIIII friend!!!
The first “Friday Favorites” of the year is coming in HOT. You may have noticed two things:

To tell you the real truth (because I know you won't judge me), I first started sending these monthly emails on Friday because I missed my usual Thursday send date and sometimes a girl just gets tired of talking about Pinterest or marketing all the time.
It's me, I'm a girl.
But what started as an alliterative way of covering up my mistakes has turned into a much anticipated ritual and my fiancées favorite email of the month. #unbiased much?
Howevvverrrr, it wasn't jiving with the overall vibe of the Thursday Press sitch, so what better time than 2024 to give her a little refresh?

So today, on this glorious Thursday, I get to introduce you to the Thursday Press — Lifestyle Edition. Same content, same format, same schedule, just with an updated name.

K, great! This little intro moment has been nearly as long as January's felt, so let's jump right in!!!
WHAT I'M LEARNING
2024 is the year of taking ACTION. No more “I'll do this later” or “that's a good idea for next time."
Next time never comes. It's time to lean into my ADHD impulsivity when it gets a spark of motivation and — time and responsibilities allowing — take some mf'ing action!!!
I know my fellow biz besties are tired of hearing me plan and scheme without actually doing the thing, so if not for me, then at least I'll be doing it for them.

One way I'm taking action on my intention to take more action is by forcing said besties to drag me along with their momentum.
So when Sara of Between the Lines Copy asked if I wanted to do a Pinterest and blogging workshop with her, of course I said yes.
And when she impromptu FaceTimed me to discuss the details over salad meal prep, I diligently took notes and pressed PUBLISH on that ThriveCart product.
(Well, Sara pressed publish, but it was a joint effort, I swear!)

WHAT I'M LOVING
Favorite Book: Round of applause — I finally finished reading January's most-read book, Atomic Habits. 👏 I think I first started reading it in 2022 (yikes) but now it's DONE. And it really is as good as everyone says, hate to break it to ya.
Favorite Watch: A forever instant-watch for me will be the Harlan Coben mini-series adaptations on Netflix. Idk what it is about the shows but I love them, even though I know I would probably hate the books themselves (too predictable/cheesy to read, but produced incredibly!!!).
Favorite Desk Tunes: If you want to start your day feeling powerful, confident, and like the hottest shit on this earth, give Renée Rapp's rendition of World Burn a listen. Throughout the day, I've been vibing with my own personal Spotify mixes (including the infamous daylist, which always reads me WAY too accurately.)
Favorite Buy: I'm reeeeally trying to take budgeting & saving more seriously this year (housing market, I'm coming for you, eventually), but another one of my goals for 2024 is to have more fun and be more intentional with getting ready, even though I just work from home.
Those two goals are a little at odds with each other, but after lots of stalking the TikTok beauty girlies, I treated myself to a Sephora shopping spree last weekend to stock up on some ~essentials~. I haven't tried them all, but so far I'm feeling super good about my purchases, so here's what I picked up:
